A responsive viewer that loads every device at once
Hoverify is a responsive viewer Chrome extension that opens your page on as many device viewports as you want, side by side. Scroll, click or type in one and the rest follow. A break that only shows up at 390px is visible while you are still looking at 768px.
Every viewport on screen, side by side
Pick the devices you care about and they load together. Click a link on one and every other device navigates with it. This site was built on it.
Mirrored interactions. Scroll, click or type in a form on one device and the rest follow. Two switches control it: one for scrolling, one for clicks and typing together.
Rotate. Flip any device between portrait and landscape without losing your place on the page.
Any size. Single-viewport mode gives you drag handles on the edges and a box for exact numbers.
Scrollbars. Show or hide horizontal and vertical scrollbars across the board to see what overflows.
Custom devices. Add your own profile when the presets don't match what you actually ship to.
Navigate. Back, forward, refresh or type a URL, and every device on the board goes there.
Everything the responsive viewer can do
A mobile simulator is only useful if it survives contact with real sites and real handoffs. These four are where that gets decided.
Real device frames
iPhone 16, iPhone 15, Pixel 7 Pro, Nothing Phone, Galaxy, iPad and more, drawn with the OS status bar the real thing shows. Turn the status bar off, or drop the frame entirely when you just want pixels.
Works on sites that block iframes
Most responsive checker extensions load your page in an iframe and go blank the moment a site sets X-Frame-Options. Hoverify can inject the viewer into the page itself, which is the difference between testing your staging site and staring at an empty box.
Screenshot each device on the board
Capture the visible viewport or the full scrollable page from any device's toolbar. The shots collect in one sheet, where you save each as PNG, JPEG or WebP, copy it to the clipboard or take the lot as a zip.
Annotate it where it lands
A device shot opens with the same annotation tools as Capture, and the arrow goes on before it leaves the board. Retake a device after a fix, or press Ctrl+E (⌘E on a Mac) for the screenshot editor's backgrounds and canvas sizes.
Bigger than your screen. Zoom the board out and a 2560px viewport fits on a 13-inch laptop.
User agent. Change the user-agent string to see what a site serves a phone rather than a desktop.
Device colors. Every preset carries its real finishes, from Black Titanium to Ultramarine.
What developers say about testing with Hoverify
Reviews from the Chrome Web Store and X.

Madhu Menon
Found an incredibly useful web design / development tool called Hoverify. Allows you to inspect elements on any site, copy styles, show grids, check on different viewports, grab asset lists, hide elements, and a whole lot more.

Mike Oliver
My go-to browser extension when building websites. The support is amazing and very responsive.

Find the break, then fix it without leaving the tab
Hoverify keeps the responsive viewer, the CSS inspector and the screenshot tools in one extension. Spot a layout problem on the iPhone board, hover the element to see which media query is winning, and send the annotated shot to whoever needs it.
