An on-page SEO checker for the page you're already on

Hoverify is an SEO audit extension that checks Core Web Vitals, meta tags, heading structure, images, links and schema from a panel on the page you're auditing. No crawler queue, no pasting URLs into four different sites, and it works on staging behind a login.

How it works

Everything an on-page SEO audit should cover

Lighthouse, metadata, structured data, headings, images and links, all checked from a single panel.

Tab by tab

The checks, in the order you'd run them

Most on-page problems are dull and fixable. The work is finding them, which is why each check lives in its own tab instead of one long scroll of warnings.

Title, description and the social tags, each measured against the length search engines actually show. Canonical, robots and viewport get checked too, which is usually where the surprise is.

The full H1 to H6 outline, with duplicates, empty headings, second H1s and skipped levels called out where they happen. Easier to read than scrolling the DOM and counting.

Every internal and external link, filterable by type including no-follow, with status codes that come from a real request rather than a guess. Anchor text sits next to each one.

Lab scores and real user data

Lighthouse numbers from Google's PageSpeed API, plus Core Web Vitals from the Chrome UX Report, which is what actual visitors experienced rather than what a test machine measured. Mobile and desktop are reported separately, because they rarely agree.

Images, measured rather than eyeballed

A count of images missing alt text, a count marked decorative and every file's natural dimensions beside the size it's rendered at. The panel doesn't flag the gap. The two numbers side by side are how you spot it. The exported report does mark any file over 1 MB as heavy.

Export the whole audit as one report

One click turns the whole audit into a single document you can save and send, instead of screenshotting each tab in turn.

Every check, one document. All the checks land in one file, laid out the way you read them.

Tells you what to fix. Every section marks what's passing and what needs work, so the report reads like a to-do list.

Ready to hand off. PDF for a client, Markdown for a ticket or a chat, JSON or CSV for a script.

Works behind a login. Audit staging, a members area or a checkout. Everything but the Lighthouse scores, which need a public URL.

21 schema templates. Organization, Product, FAQ, Article, Event and Breadcrumb among them, ready to fill in.

Copy anything out. Send the meta tags, the heading outline or the schema straight to your clipboard.

I use Hoverify every day. It helps me inspect elements, check styles, test responsive layouts, grab colors and assets, identify tech stacks, and take screenshots without constantly opening DevTools. I also appreciate the developer's responsiveness and focus on quality. The tools feel polished, useful, and reliable. Hoverify saves me time, keeps my toolbar cleaner, and keeps getting better. Easy five stars.

For web developers

Audit the page, then fix it in the same tab

Hoverify keeps the SEO checks next to the CSS inspector, Site Stack and the screenshot tools. Find the heading that's wrong, edit it in place to see how it reads, and export the report when you're done.
