Device Frames License

This license covers the phone, foldable and tablet frames that Hoverify publishes with its device mockup generator. UnveelWorks Private Limited, the company that makes Hoverify ("we" below), drew the frames and owns the copyright in them.

The short version

• You can use the frames for free in personal and commercial work. That includes app store screenshots, websites, ads, slides and client projects.
• You don't need to credit Hoverify.
• You can't sell or share the frame files, or use them to build a mockup tool.
• Device names like iPhone, Galaxy and Pixel belong to the companies that make those devices. Hoverify isn't affiliated with any of them.

1. What this license covers

In this license, "the Frames" means the device frame images published on tryhoverify.com. That covers the WebP and PNG files on each device page, the crease overlays for foldables and the frame in any mockup you export from the generator.

Your screenshot is not part of the Frames. Whatever you put inside a frame stays yours, and this license gives us no rights to it. The generator runs in your browser and never uploads your screenshot to us.

2. What you can do

We grant you a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to copy, modify and display the Frames in personal and commercial work. It doesn't expire unless it ends under section 7. Some examples of what it allows:

• Framed screenshots in App Store, Google Play and other store listings
• Websites, ads, social posts, videos and printed material
• Pitch decks, portfolios, case studies and documentation, including work you make for clients
• A frame you've cropped, recolored or otherwise edited to suit your design

3. What you can't do

You may not:

• Sell, sublicense or give away the Frames as files, edited or not. That includes frame packs, mockup templates, UI kits, stock image listings and Figma or Sketch community files where the frames are what's on offer.
• Use the Frames in a mockup generator, screenshot framing tool, app, plugin or other service that lets people put their own content in them.
• Claim you made the Frames, or try to register them as your own design or trademark.
• Use the Frames in a way that suggests Apple, Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, Motorola or Hoverify endorses you or your product.
• Use the Frames in anything unlawful.

A finished mockup with your screenshot in it is fine to share anywhere. This section is about offering the frame itself as something other people can reuse.

4. Credit and links

You don't have to credit Hoverify or link to us. Nothing in this license depends on it, and your rights are the same either way.

If the frames saved you time, we'd appreciate a link back. It helps other people find them. Paste one of these into your site, blog post or README:

5. Trademarks and device designs

iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple. Galaxy belongs to Samsung, Pixel to Google, Redmi to Xiaomi and Moto to Motorola, and other product names belong to their owners. Hoverify isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies.

The Frames are our own drawings, made from each device's published screen size, corner radius and bezel measurements. This license covers our copyright in those drawings and nothing else. It gives you no rights in anyone's trademarks, product designs or logos. How you use a device's name or likeness in your own work is your responsibility, and that includes following any rules an app store or ad platform sets.

6. No warranty

We provide the Frames as they are, with no warranty of any kind. They're drawings, and a frame may not match the real device exactly. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using them.

7. If you break these terms

If you break section 3, your license ends and you must stop using the Frames. Mockups you published before then, in ways this license allows, can stay where they are.

8. Changes to this license

We may update this license, and the date at the top of this page changes when we do. Each version applies to Frames downloaded while it was current. An update never takes away permission you already had for files you downloaded earlier.
